March was the second month of this round of #OTSPSecretSister Project. I wasn’t expecting the package when it arrived, because well I don’t know. This month has been rough for me and so I was able to send out my package to my own secret sister Thursday. I really hope that she likes it. I put alot of effort into it.
Last month’s round was pretty awesome, so I just knew this round would be just as awesome, and it was! The theme was…
February was the first month of round 6 of #OTSPSecretSister Project – my second round of participation. I patiently waited for my first package from my new secret sister. She sent a few cards before the package unexpectedly arrived a day earlier than I was told. I was beyond excited. I learned from the round to actually be patient and don’t rush because it would definitely be worth the wait. I also knew things happen, as I am sure both my current and past sisters who receive from are well aware of.
Boy was this such a great package. My sister took a lot of time and effort putting together such a great package. The theme?
I am participating in the Sweet Progress Winter Galentine’s Box Swap. It is being put together by one of my former swap partners Ashley @ Happy. Pretty. Sweet. and her friend Dean @ Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress. It looked pretty interesting and seemed to be something worth trying and fulfilling.
I hope that you will take a peek at the swap and possibly join in the fun.
In addition #OTSPSecretSister, which takes place in 6-months intervals, I also participated in a handful of other Christmas themed swaps – 12 Days of Christmas Swap, Funko! Pop Swap, #TBTBSanta, and COYER Secret Santa Swap.
Each of them were fun to participate in. The gifts and experiences were amazing.
Last month, my Secret Sister left a clue as to who she was…her mailing address. I instantly sent her a thank you card. However, she never received it. I also sent her a Christmas card…and that one didn’t appear to be received either. But since I had figured out who she was I kept asking her…after confirming that I was correct, we began to chat. It was discovered that I wrote one of the numbers wrong in her address. So, I sent her another Christmas card with a special gift card included – making sure that I had the right numbers written on the card. She did in fact got the card and gift card.
This month my Secret Sister, who is none other than Flo (co-founder of Book Nerds Across America) sent me a lovely package for the holiday season.
I am participating in the 12 Days of Christmas Swap hosted by Chaotic Goddess Swaps. I was not sure if I would participate or not but once I read the premise of the swap, I couldn’t pass it up.
The objective is to send a fabulous package with 12 individually wrapped gifts to your partner to be opened, one per day, from December 13th through Christmas Eve.
That was an idea I had for my #OTSPSecretSister’s December parcel, but decided to against it. So now it looks like a can still use the idea but for a new swapper. I am excited and excited that I got accepted for the swap.
I recently participated in the Autumn #ninjabookswap which is hosted by Bex. I have to admit that I have not mailed my packages to my two swappers due to health and financial issues. But they will be sent out early this week and I feel horrible that I wasn’t able to get them out in time.
The Autumn #ninjabookswap included two separate swaps – an original swap and a Trick or Treat swap. I participated in both swaps.
I have had some health issues come up, as well as going to visit my best friend in Arkansas, as most of you know. So it was a great joy and surprise to return home to a package from my #OTSPSecretSister.
I am beyond excited with my September package I received from my Secret Sister. And the theme was perfect.
