This week has been OK. Short week at work, so I didn’t get extremely tired. I did, however, applied for college. This will be for a post-baccalaureate and in a different specialty…. RN-BSN…. I think I’m ready to get started again and pursue this and become a nurse. I just have to figure out how to pay for it and how to take my classes with work.

No WNBA game or movies this week. Responsibilities got in the way. LOL. But that’s life.

The summer reading challenges are coming alone nicely…better than I thought. The #MakeMeReadIt Readathon started today, so I am reading the first book picked – Cinder by Marissa Meyer – and so far I am enjoying it. It’s a bit different, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I’m making fair progress on COYER Summer Vacation and #20BooksOfSummer. I have enjoyed all the reads so far. And it feels good making progress on my NetGalley reviews.

It’s terribly hot in Georgia right now. Have I mentioned I don’t like the heat! There are only so many clothes you can take off. I’d much rather be freezing in the cold instead of burning in this heat.

  1. Good luck with the readathon! And best of luck with schooling too… it’s been hot here too but not as hot as in Georgia I imagine! Hope it cools off some for you. Have a great week!

  2. Congratulations on applying for school! And good luck making it work with everything. I read Cinder earlier this year and really enjoyed it. If you do audio books at all the narrator for the series is fantastic. It was definitely different but I enjoyed it and I liked Scarlet even more. I need to pick up Cress soon. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks! I will figure it out. I know this something I need to do. I should have done it a long time ago.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Cinder. It was a good read. I want to read the rest of the books and will do those at my earliest convenience.

  3. That’s awesome that you applied for college and are going for the RN-BSN! I hope it works out – financially and time-wise. I’ve had Cinder sitting on my shelf for ages. It’s not my usual kind of read but everyone raves about it so I’m sure I’ll pick it up at some point. And I’m with you on this crazy heat! I’d much rather be cold than hot!
